Inflation…

Seems inflation is a bigger problem than I'd realised these days.

It seems a penny is no longer enough to secure weight in the base of my miniatures – I'm having to resort to 5 pence pieces!!

This hobby is getting expensive…

  1. You could always put them on metal washers, like I do.

    1. Haha, that sounds far too sensible, plus they'd be more expensive than the cash I reckon as I'm only doing 15 models.

  2. Here in Canada, they have discontinued the 1c coin, there is no 2c coin, and the nearest size equivalent to a 2p is a 25c coin. That's expensive! ;) I guess I could use a 5 or 10c coin, but they're really ratehr light.

    1. 25c!! Now that would be expensive.
In truth the 5p coin I'm using isn't the best but it's the only one that will fit inside the lovely resin bases.

  3. LOL Yeah I though about washers to but when you price it up for the amount you'd need for the job it always doesn't seem worth it.
