Chaos Call In The Wolf…

"You're callin' the Wolf? Sheeeeeet, that's all you had to say!"

The assault on Sakar Prime by the Orks was taking its toll already. The small Iron Warrior garrison overseeing the Communications Array had been swept away and now the Orks were moving on to The Forge. It was imperative that The Forge was not lost – it was too important a site for the Chaos Powers. It was time that specialist forces were brought in to deal with the Ork incursion and stall their advances.

There was only one individual who could get the job done and that was Typhus. His Nurgle forces were ideal for grinding down the enemy and this was what was required. This would give the rest of the Iron Warriors time to shore up the defences around the mining facility itself and prepare for the inevitable all-out attack there.

Typhus arrived, undetected by the Orks, and soon there was a plan in place. The greenskins would not find The Forge so easy a target. The Orky green tide would be washed away by a brown Nurgle tsunami of rot and disease.

  1. Does he still have his yellow feather? :D It is still an imposing model Mike, I'm sure those green skins will be running scared!

    1. He's no coward, the Dark Angels simply weren't worth him stepping in – the minions dealt with it!

    2. Shake those tail feathers. You need to turn him around so that we can see the yellow stripe running down his spine ;-)

  3. Actually thinking about it - he is a supervisor as opposed to an action character. He directs others to perform - I'd say he was a waste of good stats. You pay a lot of points for that kind of spineless leader. On the Nurgle theme - was there a name scientific name for the 'yellow fever'? ;-)

    1. Flaviviruses are named from the yellow fever virus, the type virus for the family; the word "flavus" means "yellow" in Latin. The name "yellow fever" originated from its propensity to cause yellow jaundice in victims.

Oh - you are soooo bringing the wrong leader to this fight!!

    2. I'll be interested to see your reaction when we out-horde a horde army. There will be so many zombies on the table your trucks won't be able to move ;)

Typhus will be orchestrating things, waiting for your Warboss to challenge. Then he hits you with his AP2 Destroyer Hive in the Psychic Phase (also destroying most of the Warboss's retinue in the process), just before he reaps you with D6 S7 AP2 attacks, instant killing what's left.

Oh he's the man all right… and he's just the warm up act ;)
